A slide is a great addition to your pool. It can create a water park like atmosphere but from the comfort of your own backyard. The most accessible feature about a slide is one can almost always be easily installed at any point. Maybe you had reservations when you first built your pool or perhaps you were hesitant to spend more money on equipment after the initial expenses. Nonetheless, timing and finances have aligned and the left turning slide has been added to your swimming pool. It does not require a supplementary water supply because slides use water directly from the pool within the existing circulation cycle. All that is required is another plumbing line from the filter system to the future slide location.
Therefore, the placement of your slide is crucial. Ideally, you want your slide to be facing the primary congregating area. When you are not physically using the slide, the water cascading down is a visually appealing aesthetic. You also would not want to be limited to seeing only the backs of the people coming down, but preferably engage with the enthused swimmers who are filled with thrill and excitement before the oncoming big splash. For example, if your patio is positioned to the left hand side, then the pool slide should subsequently be in that direction.
Moreover, you want to ensure you have enough space before installing a slide. The space you are considering is for both inside the pool, confirming the depth levels follow approved standards, as well as outside the water there is a safe area to secure a ladder properly. Our slides come with a fully enclosed ladder that meets the highest standard of safety requirements. To accommodate the varying pool shapes and sizes, we offer a number of different pool models to choose from including curvy, narrow, wider, smaller, right, and left turn pool slides.
A few notable features in many of our SR Smith and Global slides are a flume with increased water flow, safe dual-moulded handrails for easy ascension up the slide, enclosed plumbing for quick assembly and trouble-free installation, and cleaning can be done with nonabrasive soap and water. Why wait to travel for hours or pay overpriced resort tickets when you can bring the fun to your home, twisting and turning, right to left, side to side, on a pool slide in Canada!
